Discover Central Asia for yourself – one of the centers of origin of mankind. Touch and feel the distance of past of ancient civilizations, going on an epic journey through five exotic countries of the East – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Central Asia is a fantastic contrast from the beautiful snow-capped mountains of the Tien Shan and Pamir mountains, pine forests, turquoise lakes, the boundless steppes of Kazakhstan, to the hot sands of the Karakum and Kyzylkum deserts.
Historically, Central Asia has been known as an area connecting Europe, the Middle East, South and East Asia through the Silk Road, thus, the mutual exchange of science, created scientific, religious, philosophical schools, which subsequently had a great influence on the development human civilization.
Modern historians call the Central Asian region – the brightest necklace of the Great Silk Road’s treasure. Both tangible and intangible values, in particular – experience, achievements and ideas of their people.
The written sources of antiquity period (5-6 century BC) show the trade journeys of ancient Greeks and Romans to Central Asia. One of the oldest ways – “lapis lazuli” – has emerged in the 3-2 millenniums BC.It started in the Pamir Mountains, passing through Iran to Asia Minor and Egypt. Semi-precious stone lapis lazuli (lapis lazuli), produced in the area of the upper Amu Darya in the Pamir (Badakhshan), highly prized by jewelers ancient eastern states such as Sumer (Mesopotamia) and Egypt. During the excavation of the tombs in their articles of Badakhshan lapis lazuli were found.
Another way – the famous “royal road” Achaemenid – linked Central Asia in VI-IV centuries BC. One way was connected to Ephesus and Sardis –Asia Minor cities, on the Mediterranean coast with one of the capitals of Iran and the city of Susa. Another path led from Iran through Bactria, Sogdiana, Tashkent oasis and the territory of Kazakhstan to the Altai. This legendary road has connected the immense territory from China to the Mediterranean. History, perhaps, does not know another such international route, which is over ten thousand kilometers, covered the two continents. This lead to a mixture of people, arose and abandon of the dynasties, were formed and spread religious and philosophical teachings from Zoroastrianism and Buddhism to Islam. These cities are located on the Silk Road, are rich not only with their ancient monuments, but also their history ruins after the invasion of Alexander the Great, the Arab conquest, the invasion of Genghis Khan.
The tour is designed so as to enable travelers to get a deeper understanding of Central Asia as a whole. The route through the ancient city that in the list of UNESCO, the modern metropolis, unique natural landscapes, culture and traditions of the people living in these territories.

Zargaron Plaza. The hotel is located a 10 minute-walk from the Old Town boundaries with its ancient mosques, madrasahs, shopping streets, and a 5-minute drive from the International Airport. Furthermore it is one of few hotels in Bukhara which enjoys a “4 stars” status.
Even exteriorly the hotel compares favorably with other Bukhara competitors. Already in the hall you will get a feeling that have found yourselves in an oriental shah’s palace: white arches in between the columns, painted ceilings, skillfully hammered décor elements, glittering chandeliers…
Unfortunately the rooms do not follow the oriental theme and are decorated in classic style, but what is important they meet all quality standards.
The Zargaron Plaza offers such facilities as a restaurant, conference hall, fitness center, summer café and so on. It is worth mentioning that the hotel smart bar is decorated in a Spanish style, with tables and chairs fitted with wooden wheels. It is very pleasant to sit with friends there in the evening and relax after an eventful day.
